Trims & Mechanical Specifications 

Two unique trim levels are available for the 2023 RAM 1500 Classic: the Tradesman® and Warlock options, with each available as either a 4x2 or 4x4 configuration. The Tradesman trim brings all the capability you've come to expect from the RAM 1500, while the Warlock trim offers an imposing blacked-out exterior design and a bigger Quad Cab® with seating for six. 

The 2023 RAM 1500 Classic offers two distinct engine options in a standard 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 engine and available 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 engine. The Pentastar engine produces 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque, while the HEMI® engine yields 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. 

Capability

The RAM 1500 Classic is the quintessential towing and hauling vehicle, boasting a 1,810-lb maximum payload capacity and 10,620-lb maximum towing capacity when equipped with the available 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine and TorqueFlite® eight-speed automatic transmission.

Other capability features include Electronic Stability Control, which corrects oversteering and understeering, and Electronic Roll Mitigation, which reduces wheel lift. Together these features keep your vehicle aligned by applying braking to the appropriate wheel and reducing engine power when necessary.
